Final Assembly Line (EOL)
Challenge
This fully automated line was designed for flexibility, allowing it to easily adapt to different production models while also offering the ability to double its capacity. TPR conducted a thorough study to optimize the layout, minimizing space requirements and reducing the need for operator intervention. Additionally, the line was integrated with a custom traceability system to meet the specific expectations of our customer.
Implemented Solution
We designed and manufactured a Final Assembly Line to produce PTC Heater Controllers with the following key features:
- Fully automated line (14 x 5 m layout)
- Laser marking
- Dielectric, thermal and functional tests
- AOI equipped with 4 vision systems
- Dispensing system (Tamponing & gel)
- Automatic PCB feeding system
- Bonding machine
The machine is capable of achieving a cycle time of 30 seconds, with the possibility to work at 15 seconds.
